ALBERTA FRAGMENTS
Currently featured on our website are the Alberta Fragments. Alan completed these 25 paintings-on-paper during an artist residency at Gushul Studio in Alberta, Canada, in June of 2001. From the Canadian Rocky Mountains, he gathered rocks, sand, and other organic matter which he crushed and mixed with medium to make the pigments used in creating these "portraits" of Alberta. On panel and framed, each of these paintings measures approximately 33 by 25 inches.

You may preview six of these unique works online.

For more information about the Alberta Fragments, please contact Coleman Gallery Contemporary Art or Alan Paine Radebaugh.
