THE BEST OF 2002 IN ARTS AND LITERATURE
http://www.alibi.com/alibi/2003-01-09/arts_section.html#artnews
In the January 9-15, 2003 issue of Alibi, Steven Allen listed Radebaugh's exhibit, Alberta Fragments (Coleman Gallery Contemporary Art, June 2002), as one of his top 10 for the year 2002.

Allen wrote in this article, "comforting reminders of the power and mystery of the earth and its organisms. Radebaugh's work is a revelation."

ARTISTS AT THE INTERSECTION OF NATURE AND ART
Alan was featured in another article this spring, Artists at the Intersection of Nature and Art. In an informative article in ABQ Arts February issue, Julian Spalding wrote, "Radebaugh's Fragment series gives witness to the eloquence embodied in the natural world."

FUNDRAISING EVENTS
This spring brought an array of worthwhile fundraisers to which Alan donated pieces of his art. Art for the Animals 2003, an auction benefiting Animal Humane Association of New Mexico, took place January 25th. The 11th Annual Chocolate Fantasy, a gala evening of chocolate tasting, champagne sipping, extraordinary food, and a fabulous silent auction to benefit the New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation was held on March 1st. The 12th Annual Friends for Life Dinner and Silent Auction, benefiting New Mexico Aids Services, was Saturday, March 29th.

Alan is participating in another benefit for The New Mexico Natural History Museum Foundation, a public art project, The Dinosaur Stompede. From May 1-June 7, 2003, artist-decorated fiberglass dinosaurs will be displayed around Albuquerque to increase awareness of and raise funds for the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. UPCOMING EXHIBITIONS
Alan's work will hang in two upcoming exhibitions at Coleman Gallery Contemporary Art: Gallery Group I -- an exhibit by gallery artists July 2nd-26th, 2003; and a two-person exhibition, September 3rd-27th, 2003. Details on these events will be in the next newsletter. For gallery hours and more information http://www.colemancontemporary.com
