CHASING FRAGMENTS, 1982-2002
This solo exhibition at 516 Magnifico brings together works representing the various methods and materials that Alan Paine Radebaugh has utilized as an artist during the last two decades. It includes sculptural art furniture from the 1980's; paintings, sculpture, and works on paper from the 1980's and 1990's; and "Fragments" from 1999 through 2002, including three large canvases completed during Alan's recent residency at Gushul Studio in Alberta, Canada. These selected works exemplify Radebaugh's use of line and biomorphic forms and share nature as a source of inspiration.

Alan gratefully acknowledges the support of Cynthia Sanchez, PhD, director and curator of the New Mexico Capitol Art Foundation in Santa Fe, New Mexico, who curated this exhibition; Pamela and Don Michaelis and Andrew Nagen who sponsored it; the staff at Magnifico; and the City of Albuquerque.
