FERTILEWORKS, a solo exhibit, features paintings, prints, and sculpture from 2003-2004 by Alan Paine Radebaugh. (Alan's work is on continuous display at James Reid.)
Opening reception Friday December 3rd, 2004, 5-7 pm, 114 East Palace Avenue, Santa Fe, NM 505-988-1147

The work in these exhibitions exemplifies the dramatic change in Radebaugh's paintings following a 2002 extended visit to Maine. He set aside the acrylics and natural pigments of many of his fragment paintings from 1999-2002 and returned to oils. The paintings that emerged form a dynamic world of saturated color. These images, as in Alan's previous work, are the abstract patterns or fragments of nature.

Paintings from these exhibits have hung at the International Museum of Art in El Paso (2004), Holter Museum of Art in Helena, Montana (2004), The Albuquerque Museum of Art and History (2004), Coleman Gallery Contemporary Art (2003 & 2004), and the Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, Ohio (2003).

Radebaugh is represented by Coleman Gallery Contemporary Art, Albuquerque NM.
